8K a year To provide day to day administrative support to the H.
R.
Department in the areas of attendance, payroll, employment verifications, associate relations, uniform program, correspondence, record keeping, and file maintenance.
Essential Functions:
Answer telephone for Company and take messages Greets visitors and notifies appropriate person of visitors arrival Maintains mailroom and employee document station Prepares necessary reports and letters to assist with payroll and other HR functions Completes employment verification and benefit enrollment verifications Tracking of all hourly attendance records, and bonus programs.
Distributes disciplinary notices.
Distributes incoming / outgoing mail - intercompany and U.
S.
Maintains mailroom.
Administers company uniform program, office supplies.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
Serves as a back-up for HCIH HR Generalist with HR functions and onboarding.
Advises management and other associates relative to H.
R.
policies, procedures, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES,
Experience:
2-year degree in business or an equivalent field preferred.
1-3 years of previous human resources experience required.
Good data entry skills and familiarity with Word/Excel/Powerpoint required.
Working knowledge of EEOC / AAP and employment laws / regulations.
Must be able to type 50 words per minute.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
Office environment with noise from computer peripherals such as printers and disk drives.
Use of video display terminal (VDT) for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time.
Possible eye strain from extended periods of viewing VDT.
Sometimes lifts, carries or moves objects up to 25 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
